What an awesome trail! It's officially my favorite downhill in the area. Thanks for those that braved the weather and came out to race. Everyone had super fast runs. A big thanks to the Roanoke guys that came out and did trail clean up prior to the race. We will post info about next week maybe wednesday or thursday, but we are thinking old farm.

Big Bad Wolf!!

Tomorrow's downhill is on the Big Bad Wolf trail in fort Lewis. Directions posted below. If you need a ride from blacksburg, or want to follow me out there, stop by East Coasters at 3:30 and we can pile into as few cars as possible. Otherwise plan on meeting at the top of the trail at 5:30. It's a pretty long trail so if you plan on doing a hike a bike I would allow an hour to climb it. We'll see you out there.

 From Blacksburg:
Head south on Main Street
Take a left on Ellett
Left at the railroad tracks where it becomes Cedar Run
Right at the Citgo Station onto Den Hill
Left onto North fork
Left onto Bradshaw
The trail head is less than obvious, but basically it's a gravel pull off on the right side of the road. I'll try to get there early so you can spot it. But it's about a mile after you pass a gravel parking lot that has a forest service sign in it. If you get lost call me. 804-516-9306
