I'm really happy with these photos.  I have a second set I will post up to my blog (clearviewphotos.blogspot.com).  The only rider I couldn't use "up close" pictures of was Matt - I must have bumped the focus ring on your pass but what I can show are still good pictures of you and Gabe's new build ;).  I have an anecdotal story to post on my blog, you guys may get a kick out of what photographers will do to get the shot.  Although I was mistaken for a "rider down", I will take more of these extreme angle shots in future.

Thanks everyone who came out last weekend! Results will be posted soon.

In the meantime, here are details on our final D-Cup event for this season. It will be a 3-stage super-d at Pandapas, featuring Beauty, Royale, and Old Farm. The Royale stage will begin at the high point on Prickly Pear for some extra fun. The Old Farm stage will begin at the fire circle. Climbing in between trails will not be timed.

We will meet at the top of our first trail. If you're not sure how to find it, be at the fire circle by 2:40 PM for a guide. First rider will start at 3:00 PM on Sunday instead of 5PM to give ample time before sunset.

Well, we are nearing the end of our spring race series  Let's make the best of the good weather this weekend and shoot for a big turnout!

Race 6 will start at the highest point of the 1000ft climb at Carvins Cove. To get there from the Bennet Springs lot, you can either pedal up the fire road until it levels off at the top, or go up Hi Dee Hoe and turn left at the fire road

We will ride down the fire road, Jacob's Drop, and Tuckaway to finish at the 4 way intersection. Please be respectful of anyone else out enjoying the trails on wheels, foot, or horseback!

First rider down at 5PM Sunday.

It looks like spring might finally be here for real! Or at for this weekend. Even you can't make it to the race, hopefully everyone has time to enjoy riding bikes in the nice weather.

Our 5th race will be at North Mountain. The plan was to ride down Deer Trail, BUT I have heard that the access gate is still closed. To avoid last minute confusion, let us plan to ride North Mountain trail down to 311. Park at the Dragon's Tooth lot and hike up to the highest point before the trail drops back down. Now y'all can start pre-riding to get those racing lines dialled in :)

Sorry for switching plans around. Not having Wildlife road open is a bummer. But fortunately N. Mtn trail is a lot of fun too.
